1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Hiree, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Account Registration
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must not create multiple accounts for the same purpose
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
3. User Types
Job Seekers
- May create a profile, browse jobs, and apply to positions
- Must provide truthful information about skills and experience
- Must not apply to positions they are not genuinely interested in
Businesses
- May post job listings and browse candidate profiles
- Must provide accurate job descriptions and requirements
- Must comply with all applicable employment laws
- Must not discriminate based on race, gender, age, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
- Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
- Attempt to access other users' accounts
- Use automated tools to scrape or collect data
- Interfere with the platform's operation
- Share login credentials with others
5. Content
Your Content
- You retain ownership of content you post (profiles, job listings, messages)
- You grant Hiree a license to use your content to provide and improve our services
- You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate others' rights
Our Content
- Hiree and its logo are trademarks of Hiree Inc.
- The platform's design, features, and content are protected by copyright
- You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission
6. AI Matching
- Our AI matching is provided as a tool to assist hiring decisions
- AI match scores are recommendations, not guarantees
- Hiring decisions remain the responsibility of the employer
- We continuously improve our algorithms based on outcomes
7. Payments and Subscriptions
- Free accounts have limited features as described on our pricing page
- Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected
- You may cancel your subscription at any time
- Refunds are available within 14 days of initial purchase for Pro plans
- Enterprise terms are negotiated separately
8. Limitation of Liability
- Hiree is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We are not responsible for hiring decisions made using our platform
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months
9. Dispute Resolution
- Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration
- Arbitration will be conducted in San Francisco, California
- You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits
10. Termination
- You may delete your account at any time
- We may terminate accounts that violate these terms
- Upon termination, your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of significant changes.
